Our Story: A New Name, The Same Roots
Our firm's story begins with a simple truth: there's something special about practicing law in the community where you belong. This practice has served Mid-Valley families from historic downtown Albany since 2006. In 2026, we adopted a new name and partnership structure — Miller, Castleton & Flinn — reflecting the three partners who lead the firm today. The name is new. The roots, the office, and the commitment to this community are not.
Daniel W. Miller has practiced in Linn and Benton counties since 2014. He began his career with a Corvallis firm in local government law and served as city prosecutor for multiple Mid-Valley municipalities before turning his focus to family law — bringing a working understanding of both sides of the courtroom to every case he handles.
Sarah Castleton brings more than 30 years of service to the Albany area in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and trust administration. She serves on the board of the Albany Safety Foundation, and her practice reflects the same instinct that drives that work — a genuine desire to help people protect what matters most.
Mike Flinn is one of the most seasoned criminal defense attorneys in the Mid-Valley, with nearly three decades in Oregon courtrooms. Alongside his defense practice, he handles personal injury and DUI matters, bringing the same tenacious advocacy to every client.
