Brand Assets

Logo

The MCF monogram, a Tobacco rule, and the three surnames stacked. It renders from src/components/Logo.astro; passtone for the ground and height for size — the width follows the artwork. Keep clear space of at least the rule's width on every side, and never recolour the rule.

Reverse

Dark blue grounds — nav, footer, heroes. Navy swapped for Warm White.

Color Palette

Oxford Blue — Primary

The brand blue. #375A9E is the hex on the brand sheet and carries buttons, links, and eyebrows on light surfaces. The two deep steps are the large dark grounds the Deco layouts sit on; the light step is the hover/lift.

Blue Deeper#101C33--blue-deeperDarkest grounds — hero, footer, dark cards.

Tobacco — Secondary

The metallic accent. Unlike the old gold, the brand hex itself is AA-safe as text on light surfaces, so it doubles as a text colour. The tints exist because Tobacco is too dark to read against the dark blues.

Aa
Tobacco#8A5A32--tobaccoBrand secondary. AA-safe as TEXT on Warm White = 5.6:1.

Warm White — Tertiary

The page ground and the light text colour on every dark section. Stone is the quiet warm neutral that carries hairlines and sub-deco so they never compete with Tobacco.

Text Colors

Ink is blue-tinted rather than neutral black so body copy sits in the same family as the primary.

FAQ Accordion

Button + chevron accordion. The panel uses .accordion-panel (global.css): a0fr → 1fr grid-row transition keyed on the button's aria-expanded, so the script only flips that attribute. Chevron rotates 180° on open. One item open at a time. Transition: 0.5s ease.
